- The Stewardship Working Group is a subcommittee of the Kennebec Lake Association Executive Committee. It develops and implements plans for stewardship projects based on and in keeping with the approved, long term lake stewardship plan and as approved by the Executive Committee.

- SWG Members are Terry Kennedy and Jerry White - co-Lake Stewards, Gray Merriam, Aileen Merriam, Gord Brown, Lori White, Judy Kennedy, Bob Furitsch, Gabe Chartier and Jarvis Hoult.

- Objectives of the Stewardship Working Group are

- 1 Measure, monitor and assemble knowledge of natural, environmental processes as well as potential threats, that affect the lake and its watershed
|
|
- 2 Communicate information about the lake to users residents, cottagers, visitors to encourage good stewardship practices
|
|
- 3 Recommend policies and...or actions to the KLA and
|
|
- 4 Provide leadership in undertakings or initiatives in cooperation with the KLA executive.
