Lake Association Our lake association was formed in 1990 through an initiative of Bob Yule who phoned local residents and organized the initial meeting and the first executive was elected. Area Reps We divided the lake into Areas as part of the pre-911 emergency services mapping and signage we did in the 90's. You can still see many of the Area white signs with red letters and red posts. Area reps are responsible for the accuracy of the member info in their area - identify people who are no longer there, and ensure contact info is correct, particularly email addresses which are our main form of communication. if a person doesn't have an email address then perhaps one of their children do. Lake Plan chair Should we decide to proceed with a Lake Plan or State of the Lake Report we would need a person to be the chair of the lake planning committee.
Lake Plan committee Should we decide to proceed with a Lake Plan or State of the Lake Report we would need approx 5 people to make up the lake planning committee. This committee will chart the plan and monitor ensure progress continues to be made. Committee is not necessarily responsible for creating the plan - hopefully individuals can be found that will prime various sections.
Lake Plan volunteers Should we decide to proceed with a Lake Plan or State of the Lake Report we would need people to volunteer to prime creation of the various sections. Some sections could be as easy as selecting from the template suggestions modifying as best you think and then sending the section out for review from the rest of the members.
Conservation Authority Our lake falls under the Quinte Conservation Authority
